ブリスベンイーステフォド・コンクールピアノソロ部門第1位。
クィーンズランド・ピアノコンクール第3位。
ブリスベンを中心に活動
ソロやピアノデュオ、室内楽・合唱団の伴奏活動。
日本ではリサイタル活動及び2011年2月、横浜交響楽団とラプソディー・イン・ブルーを協演し 好評を得る。
横浜交響楽団合唱団専属ピアニストを務めたのち、EYS音楽教室ピアノ講師を務める。
太田明子、マーク・ギブソン、オレッグ・ステパノフの各氏に師事。
Eriya Kawauchi is a pianist/ piano teacher who is currently based in Yokohama, Japan.
Eriya has graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Qeensland University of Technology and with a Master of Music Studies at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.
During his study in Australia, he received many awards, including 1st prize at Brisbane eisteddfod and 3rd prize at Queensland piano competition.
Eriya has been performing at many solo, duo, chamber music and accompaniment concerts. In 2011, he performed Gershwin’s ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ with the Yokohama symphony orchestra, and was welcomed with enthusiasm.
Eriya is a pupil of Akiko Ota, Mark Gibson and Oleg Stepanov.

ピアノの先生は厳しくて怖いイメージがある方もいらっしゃると思いますので、楽しく生徒さんたちとのコミュニケーションを大事にしたレッスンを心がけています。
ピアノはレベル、年齢等を問わずみんなが楽しめるものです。初心者の方はもちろん、たくさんの方々と音楽を共に分かち合えたらうれしいです。
From my experience as well, I feel that many people have the image that piano teachers are strict and scary. But don’t you worry, we are very careful that students actually have fun at the lesson. Any level or any age can learn and have fun with piano. I would be grateful if I can make your life slightly better by introducing the world of piano.
